Executive-level management for independent artists who've outgrown DIY — flat retainer, zero backend commission, real operational support.
Most managers take a heavy cut of everything you earn, forever. We don't. Talkback runs on a transparent monthly retainer — you always know exactly what management costs, and you keep what you make.
Standard term is 12 months, but either side can end it early with 30 days' written notice — no penalty. And when it ends, it ends — no residual claim on your catalog, publishing, or future earnings. Live bookings routed through our affiliated booking agency, Troutman Music Group, carry a standard booking fee on gross show guarantees; Talkback takes nothing additional on top.
Same flat monthly retainer at every tier, zero commission no matter what you make. What changes is how much of the day to day we take off your plate.
You're already booking shows and want more of them. We handle the booking, get you in front of promoters who actually fill rooms, and keep your socials looking like someone's paying attention. If your name isn't getting in front of the right people yet, this is where you start.
Get In TouchYou've got a following now and a run of dates that's bigger than you can juggle solo. We do everything from Opener, plus advance every show, handle contracts, build the promo assets you need, and map out where you're headed for the next six months. This is for artists who are busy, not just active.
Get In TouchThis is full representation. We're in on label conversations, endorsement talks, and getting you into the studio with people worth being in a room with. Your entire social presence is handled, not just posted. And when a call actually matters, you're not on it alone. This is for artists who need a team, not a task list.
Get In TouchTalkback runs day-to-day operations as your executive COO — so you spend your time writing, recording, and performing instead of chasing logistics.

Talkback works both sides of the stage. Through our affiliated booking agency, Troutman Music Group, we source, vet, and route entertainment for clubs, festivals, PACs, and private venues — pulling from our own roster and our wider talent network. One point of contact, one contract, no chasing five different agents for one calendar.
We match acts to your room's capacity, audience, and budget — from our own roster or sourced through TMG's wider network — instead of filling a date with whoever's free.
Show guarantees, ticket splits, riders, and deposits negotiated and documented before load-in, so there's no ambiguity the night of the show.
Advance sheets, travel, and day-of coordination run through Talkback and TMG directly — your venue isn't managing the artist's side of the show.
Not included: exclusivity agreements that restrict which agencies you can work with, and long-term venue contracts. Every booking is negotiated per show or per season, on your terms.

Talkback Talent Management is a management operation built around one idea: artists shouldn't have to give up a fifth of everything they earn just to get organized. We work on a flat retainer, focus entirely on operations and strategy, and stay out of your masters and publishing — during the relationship and after it ends.
We're currently building our first roster. If you're a self-releasing artist with real numbers and a growth problem structure can solve, we want to hear from you.
